Did you know….that Stephens staff are able to utilize the library and its resources? See below for some details!

Print/Physical Books

Check out any of the library’s 70,000+ books by using your staff ID. Stephens’ books are always due at the end of the semester no matter when they’re checked out. Search the Stephens Catalog or ask us for assistance.

Stephens is a part of the MOBIUS Consortium, which includes most academic libraries in Missouri and also many large public libraries. You can search the MOBIUS Catalog and request (on your own) that books be sent to Stephens for pickup. It usually takes three work days for books to arrive and we’ll notify you by email when they’re ready to be picked up. Use your ID number and add “SC” on the end to make requests.

E-Books & Audiobooks

View electronic books and listen to audiobooks available through the library’s eMO eBook Collection (289,000 ebooks) and OverDrive Collection (11,000 ebooks and 7,400 audiobooks). Use the EBSCO Mobile and OverDrive Libby apps to view on your phones or tablets. Sign in with your standard Stephens username and password.

Journal & Newspaper Articles

The library subscribes to many electronic databases that you can use to search for journal, magazine, and newspaper articles. Articles not immediately available can be requested by using the “Request It” feature. See the library’s complete list of available databases by visiting the Databases A-Z page. Here’s a sampling:
